For my first few years in the net, I was TheCatMan (a blue-room nickname I acquired as a missionary - whether people like me or not, their cats usually do), until I learned the name was already taken. Hotmail's suggestions started at thecatman81 and went up, implying - I thought - that there were at least 80 more of us. And you know cats aren't herd animals.
At that time I lived in Cornwall, and I'm a huge fan of the Cornish pasty, so when my extensive research failed to turn up another pastychomper, that became my name. Now I've been officially chomping the things for about ten years - in fact I was eating one in the aforementioned blue room when I first met my wife. Interestingly, I've since learned that my handle could be misconstrued to mean "loser with no tan." Enough said. ;) |

Off and on I've thought of using a clever username, but anything with jedi, guru or master in it just sounds too arrogant. And most others I've thought of would eventually conflict with my low tolerance for corn.
So I stick with the username my mother gave me. |

You mean to tell me that I can go into a resturant and ask them for a 'giant swamp rat deep fried ' and I would get the dish !
Here in India you can be kicked out of the resturant just for asking something like that. |
