Captain America The Winter Soldier aka the first good Marvel movie in a long time. Maybe it's because they finally decided to hire good actors and good script writers and good choreographers, unlike usual.

...seemed all around threw together (definitely not the worst movie I've ever saw) $0.02 me, the idea you mention reminds me of the online (virtual reality world) in Caprica, a show I liked a lot. I have not seen Surrogates yet but it's next on my list.
