a simple question about floppy drives

I have bought a used SCSI workstation, with no floppy. I am not a technician and i don't know if the floppy drives have SCSI and IDE categories, or they are just a category on their own or something. I mean do i have to add a SCSI floppy drive?
Either "yes" or "no".
In internet, it either looks no SCSI floppies are sold, or that such a thing does not exist.

As far as I am aware, I don't think the floppy drive would be SCSI. There is just no point trying to get the information from the floppy drive any faster than a normal IDE connection as the disks are slow themselves.

So.... NO

floppy have there won connection type, its smaller then IDE cables, if you look at them, they also have there own power connector .... talk about old technology

but yes, theirs hardly any point in making "new" floppy drives, with IDE or SCSI, simply because its a waste of a connection

altho I'm surprised they don't make them, i mean, they have USB mice/keyboards , even tho its a waste of a USB connection, as the standard ps/2 ports are more then adequate

but i do believe they make them, i remember reading a option in the linux's menuconfig for SCSI floppy drive ... but they probably cost a lot more money then regular floppy
