A fresh start

This is a movie I highly recommend: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110971/ .

The greatness of this movie is that it shows how native English speakers have difficulties understanding English and what it takes to improve the speakers' situation.

Understanding English is a precondition in the business of understanding manuals and technical documentation in general.

Many might find watching the movie more fun than taking an English class in community college.

And officially the movie is a comedy. So, fun is guaranteed - though for me it was a though-provoking movie.

It's been years since I've seen that film. Definitely a great culture clash movie.

BTW, is this to make a point about programming methodology? Otherwise it should be in General.

I say General---It may be important for programming, but it also applies to many other things that happen here.

Moved to General
