A blast from the past with a laugh

Okay, basically, I put the search terms computer hacker into google and found this old article. It made me laugh way to many times.

The only thing is I don't know what is worse, the fact that emacs is the worst bad habbit (even beyond making unbreakable codes for terrorists) or that even his toaster (or microwave) runs on computers, probably either linux or netBSD.

anyways, anyone think this was written by the same guy that did "Is your son a computer hacker?"

This is great:

all of the "functionality" that has been added to {snip] gcc, etc. are hacker's tools. That means that they are like lock picks or zip guns. They have no inherent functionality that is not ultimately malevolent

I can't believe this was a serious article. Or maybe it was. Written by someone who was at the time completely happy with his paid-for-and-registered copy of Windows XP. Everything working fast, nice and safe.

I couldn't even laugh about it.
