Just checked... An even 5k at that, and he passed 4999 at least as early as 6:10 PM PST (Drew's initial posting time), and it is now 11:30, and not a post since then? Where are you at Acid, come claim your fame :D

well it's 10am now... off to have a (celebratory?) crown fitted on my front tooth in a minute.

i'm miffed at the moment, the phone company, NTL, have barred my phone because i didn't pay the bill. thing is i didn't pay the bill because they told me not to, as my direct debit was being set up. so despite being told twice not to pay, i got cut off. cheers. meant to have ti reconnected two days ago didn't happen. rang just now and they said they could reconent me in half an hour, not 24 hours like the other guy said. But of course they can't credit me for the fact that i couldn't ring anyone, as the line still technically works... go figure...:confused: and the girl i was talking to spoke to her "boss" who sounded younger than her. she didn't realise that i could still hear.. "Boss: well i'll talk to them if you want. her: well i'll put you on if he gets snotty" gahh.... I got her to appologise but complaining woulda prolly just made them hate me more... i was polite and laughing, and she still thinks i'm "getting snotty" christ!

no idea why i said that.

I'm not even close in post counts in this forum. I average around 40-50 posts a week at Extreme Tech, almost all of which are in either the Linux & UNIX topic or the OS BattleZone. At an average of 50 posts a week, with a few weeks higher and lower, I've probably posted 3000 messages there in the past year.

Hopefully I've shared useful stuff there, and in the relatively few times I've posted here, I hope my comments and opinions have been useful here, too. I think my claim to fame here may be how many people from ET I referred here! :-)
