Obama is the Ronald Reagan of the current campaign ... Lots of flowery statements meaning nothing. Reagan dyed his hair, too. It just kept getting darker instead of lighter.

Note: This is not intended to be an endorsement of either candidate of the War Party ... They both suck.

I'd like to vote a third party candidate, but it doesn't do much good. The majority of the people here are sheep, and have an overwhelming support for Obama. I don't like Obama, and I don't like Mccain either, but Obama will be the next president.

Like it matters much anyways. Those with money hold all the power anyways, and what I mean by that is big business. This country has been bought a long time ago, and we are the ones getting the short end of stick. No matter what happens, we are always the ones that gets screwed in the end.

I have not voted for a major party candidate since Jimmy Carter. It does me lots of good. Voting makes me feel good; like a responsible citizen, but I'll be damned if I'll vote for a "lesser evil". It won't make me a nickel's worth of difference if McCain or Obama leads our nation into bankruptcy. But, I'll know that I voted for a person of integrity, and courage, and, as small as my voice may be, it will have spoken for real change in the "den of thieves" ... "parliment of whores" ... (pick your definition) that is Washington, DC.

Democrats can be hippies, Republicans only care about the wealthy, and third party candidates suck.

This election is a lot better than the '04 one, where we had Kerry (no soul) and Bush (..he's Bush..). Now we have Obama; who is someone with charisma, spirit, the right attitude about things, and some one who doesn't tell use empty promises, and McCain, who is Bush part 3, and his whack-job VP Palin is a fascist.

Seems to me that McCain is coming across as if he's already lost.

Guys, one question (pure curiosity).
Does elections in USA always happen this way?
I mean, those two guys were all over media for nearly YEAR, constantly fighting each other. For me that would be enough to hate them both. To me this all looks like pure circus, where pre-election speeches have nothing to do with post-election actions.

Unfortunately, that's what its come down to over the last 20 years or so. There is no real difference between the major parties, so the candidates have to be sold like competing brands of soap. The really disappointing thing is that the citizenry has come to consider this the normal way of things.

Oh, McCain is always angry. You should see the pained look on his face when he's trying very hard to be polite. Personally I don't think he'll last very long and a vote for McCain is a vote for Palin. So, in the next four years we'll either have our first female president or our first blackie president. I find it depressing that the USA hasn't evolved to the point where people just don't care about race in selecting a president. Black, yellow - I don't care, just not pink.

He's just waiting until the last minutes to launch his attacks on TV. No point attacking Obama this early on and then having all his comments refuted. Palin already spoiled some good non-stories like the pals with terrorists thing. You've got to run all the dirty ads in the last two days you're allowed to run ads. I never liked McCain, but he's not an idiot.

Yeah, as long as I've seen it that's the way it always happens. I think they do it to make people think the two candidates want different things or will do different things when they are elected ... they won't. They will do exactly as they are told.

Yes he is. He picked Palin. Then he's obsessed with "Joe the Plumber" who doesn't even pay his own taxes but concerned that Obama is going to raise his, only if he buys the plumbing business he works for. But then again I've heard rumors that he's not even a plumber. I'll leave my skeptics hat on but public records usually don't lie about who owes back taxes.. http://apps.co.lucas.oh.us/onlinedoc...1/2100&PARTY=0

If McCain wasn't an idiot, he'd do his homework before choosing such a controversial person to use as a GOP plant to win over votes. Sadly though, it's the stupid people that will believe such a story.

I won't even go into the coincidence that this guys last name is the same of Keating's son-in-law who also lives in Ohio. It's really not that common of a name..

I think the name 'presidential candidate' implies 'mentally deficient', sometimes 'severely ...'. But, there is a reason for it, mentally deficient people are easier to manipulate and have no morals whatsoever.

The standard description for "mentally deficient" is ... repeating the same actions and expecting a different result. It's not the War Party candidates who are mentally deficient, it's the people who think they're changing things by choosing between them.
