No matter who you vote for, the people who really control things will still control things. The puppets may change, but the puppet-masters stay the same.

But if you vote, it gives you full rights to bitch about them. If you don't vote and you start complaining about who's in office, the ones who voted have the right to tell you to shut the hell up!

BS ! They're the ones who put him up there (theoretically), they are to blame for all of his actions. He himself is completely free from blame and responsibility, he is a god on earth, we must kill each other for him, but he will never die, is never blamed, etc.

And, don't worry I never complain about who is in office, I complain about who is hiding in the shadows, the puppetmaster.

Maybe everyone should troll the election? Vote McCain in and then when he gives his acceptance speech, shout "only kidding".

Why can't we include a different candidate if we don't like the list of choices?

I'm voting for pi.

You can always vote for whoever you want. The Presidential selection always provides a write-in vote.

Only in a few states. Write-in votes are usually forbidden, and/or not counted.

Yeah, true. I think it's bullshit for the states that don't allow it and only go by those on the official ballot. To me, it's unconstitutional.

Even if they have write-in votes, who would I vote for. I don't know of anyone who would make a good president. Well, technically a good president according to the rich would be one that takes orders well and doesn't question them. A good president according to me is one that is sane and not mentally impaired (demented). I know it's a lot to ask, but the bar must be raised at some point. However, I don't think I would vote for myself, I wouldn't want to be president, and I don't think anyone else would either. I think I would probably be overly harsh and demanding, people would just hate me to the point of assassinating me. So it would be a lose lose situation.

Then blame it on Eric S. Raymond? He's a gun nut. "Yes, he was acting alone. It was down to rivalry between the Open Source movement and the FSF. Case closed."
