i think its about time to try to figure out a way to send a real legal public mass message to these types of corps. that they are going down the wrong path to customer happiness and to go fuck them self.

I think someone else is going to send them a message soon :)

Im wondering about the PS3, if after plugging it in and connecting it to your broadband router it starts searching for illegal games you might try to store in the harddrive or such. hahaha.

unless you are running an insecure NFS server how will they know, or are you talking about on the PS3 drive?

This is an excellent article, Lleb_KCir. Thanks for sharing it. Especially this part:

"If they cannot come up with a business model which allows them to make profits without criminalising their customers, trampling over our civil liberties or installing malware on our computers then they do not deserve to stay in business, and new ways for artists to reach the public will have to emerge."

Down with DRM!!! :jawa:

The Sony XCP story is not getting much attention where I live. You don't read about it in newspapers.
Most people I told about it weren't interested. On the other hand, if you tell them about a new Sober variant they'll go upgrading their anti-stuff software like crazy. This makes me sad.

i hear you there stimpsonjcat. i dont think people realize just how bad what sony did really is/was to the consumer. talk about complete breach of trust between company and consumer.
