[Windows XP]Access ownCloud as folder in Windows Explorer

Somebody asked me if I could not quickly write a little app like dropbox. Lazy programmer, so looked for something on the web and found ownCloud and installed version 1.2 on Ubuntu server for evaluation.

Trying to access it as a folder in Windows Explorer, but don't have a bloody idea how. I think I tried about every possible url (with and without (web)dav) in the 'location' bar

Any suggestions?

In Nautilus (on the Ubuntu server), I can access it as a folder using dav://172.31.208.75/owncloud/webdav/owncloud.php and I can drag and drop files.

My R&D manager in past times used to say
"If at first you don't succeed, give up!"

Look for a windows utility from own cloud. Have you tried in a browser? I would also try a remote admin & linux access, in case the remote access isn't working, or you lack permissions.

I did succeed a little ago ;)

You can add it in 'my network places'. In case others need it, use the help in Windows explorer and search for 'web folder'.

Marked as solved.

//Edit: funny, can't mark as solved as there is no option in the thread tools menu
