I plan on installing Fedora core 3 (DVD) on my computer. My configuration is:
MSI Neo 2 Platinium nForce3 ultra chipset
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
250GB Western Digital EIDE
Sony DDU-1613
Sony DRU-710A
Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Plat.
ATi All-in-Wonder 9700PRO
LinkSys WPC11
512MBx2 Memory
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop
Creative Labs Modem Blaster v92 56k.
The release notes i found werent very clear on supported hardware or where to obtain drivers.
I'm not asking for a complete tutorial on how to install fedora but, if fedora supports my hardware and what i can do to get fedora to support my hardware.
(Also i have the nVidia nForce 64bit drivers for linux which I downloaded from nVidia's website.)
I think it should work fine, but you obviously won't find out till you try the install The only thing that may be a slight problem for you is getting official ati graphics drivers working on your system.
