warning message before log in

I finally got the fedora up and running , But every time when I boot up I recieve the warning after the log in scheme " couldn't look up internet address for CPExxxxxxxxfaf-CM4xxxxxxxxxxx. This will prevent gnomefrom operating correctly .It may be possible to correct this by adding CPExxxxxxxxfaf-CM4xxxxxxxxxxx. to the file /etc/host.
retry or log in anyway?
I am an absolute beginner.........what I do now?

You may have some success by adding that goofy host name to the /etc/host file. The format is something like " CPExxxxxxxfaf-CM4xxxxxxxxxx localhost.localdomain localhost" The IP address for the local loop back is first. Seperate the information with a space or a tab. Then that crazy CPExx...ect., followed by a space or a tab and any aliases. You need to leave the localhost.localdomain and the localhost as these are aliases that the rest of the system needs assoicated with the local loopback.

Good Luck!
