Hi!
This is my first time to post here. I got FC11 6 CD and attempt to install on a P4 system which has 165GB H/D and 256MB RAM just to give you clear info.
It went fine upto the installation progress and paused for several minutes and came with the fallowing error:
"Unable to read package metadata. This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Insure correct directory tree. Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) from repository: fedora"
I did the following:
1. Tested the media and cameout fine.
2. Checked the directory repodata and existed.
3. Checked the file repomd.xml and also existed under repodata dir.
4. I have opened repomd.xml with an editor and found a reference
0e7de4ac9a26ec8e43f7757c5f91278ee36adf32f0cb60695adb37cacce949d3-fedora... and it correspond to the filename on the same directory tree. I can't go beyond this point. Wondering if anyone experience similar problem and has resolved the issue.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
