Trying to install Fedora Core 3 on a machine that cannot boot to CD

As the title states I am trying to install FC3 on a machine that cannot boot to the CD. I have tried making a boot floppy using my Fedora Core 1 CD's, but it tells me that I do not have the correct version of Fedora Core (which makes sense but thought it was worth a try). It also states that I do not have the drivers for a network install. Just wondering if there is any other way in which I can get Fedora Core 3 on this box...

Just a thought....
Could I update from Fedora Core 1 to 3 via yum or apt?

Thanks in advance.

Seems you are trying with a network install. For that you will need a floppy with network drivers. The network driver floppy, can be prepared with the .img in FC1 (bootnet.img? i am not sure about the file name).

If you have a CD drive, but cant boot, then boot from floppy and choose the install method as CD, which will start the anaconda.

If nothing works then you can try this as last choice ;-)
