I have a Laptop I dual boot, windows XP SP3 and Fedora 10. On windows partition all my drivers are working but on Linux i have no Sound and my VGA is unknown.

OnmMy Laptop screen on Linux partition i can't see the Task bar and even though i have VLC installed it does not play any music. If i play an mp3 one can see the player is playing but no sound is heard from my speakers.

On my windows installation my sound drivers are Realtek AC97 Audio while the VGA is VIA/S3G UniChrome.

I will be delighted to have a solution

Please post the output of "lspci", "lspci -vvvn" and "lsmod". These commands will show the installed hardware and loaded kernel modules (drivers).

Also post the output of "amixer". It will show the current mixer values.
