problems installing fedora
 

I'm trying to install Fedora on my pc a
Duron 750
512 pc133 ram

It goes thru the install procedures and all that jazz, but as soon as it starts actually installing I get an error, I can't member exactly but it something like ' bad media, hardware or something error,, yadayada,, this is a serious and your installation has been aborted press any key to reboot' like I said it's not the exact error I'm getting but it's the best I can remember.. if you need the actual error I could get it later on tonite..
as far as the bad media error I can't see it cause the cheksums were correct before I burnt the iso, and the cd check part of the install passed,

any ideas what could be going on?
any ideas how to fix this?

that sounbds somewhat similar to the trouble im having at the moment....

try using a HDD install ( no i have nbo idea how to do that. yes i would like somone to tell me) or using a different cd rom drive.... the workrounbd im trying at the moment is making a floppy bootdisk... which might work... i hope

what I ended up doing was burning new images on different medium and all is ok now. funny.. I used the exact same iso's but a different brand disc and everything went peachy, just have to learn it now..

doing a complete media check sure helps to prevent these errors. that would elimanate atleast one unknown.
