Not recognizing SATA drives

Hi folks,

I just got a new Dell server with 2 250GB SATA drives(RAID 1).

I am installing Fedora Core 4, and when I went into Disk Druid to manually set the partitions, I only see one drive(hda) with 78GB.

What am I missing here?

you need to goto Dells support site and download a driver disk for the raid controller, and most likely they only have one for RHE4, hopefully it will work in FC4.

The other option is to find out the chipset for the raid controller and see if the manufacturer has a driver

Also i'm assuming you already went into the raid bios and configured the container?
