Unhappy Non-system disk after Fedora Install

Installing Fedora 2 turns out to be a success. After successful install and restart I receive a "Non-system disk or disk error, replace and strike any key when ready". It is a SCSI drive. I installed the loader on /device/hda1.

hi,

Your PC has to boot from the SCSI drive. Did you change your BIOS settings?

You installed your bootmanager (grub?) in /dev/hda1, but that refers to:

primairy IDE, pimairy disk, partition 1

So, i think you need to install grub on your MBR (/dev/hda, without the '1') of on /dev/hdx 1, where x is your SCSI-disk.

firstly if its a scsi drive it can not be /dev/hda.....but /dev/sda

2) you will need to re-install but partition and format using
fdisk /dev/sda or cfdisk /dev/sda

BUT you can't if you are using FC2 and want to dual boot windows until you resolve this bug
