No sound from audio CD's with Fedora Core 1

I'm using a Gateway 310XL with Fedora Core 1
During installation and when i use the KDE Control Center i can hear the test sound, but for some reason there is no audio output when playing an audio cd.

Any Ideas?

Do i need to still configure my soundcard? And if so... wheres a good place to find out how

Thanx

There should be a slider in the volume control to turn up volume on CD. This is separate from the main volume control. Also try the Pcm and PhoneOut sliders as well.

Hope this helps,

Forrest
