? Which Fedora version ? And is it 32bits or 64bits ?

Example flash-plugin that works with firefox-37.0.2 : "11.2.202.457".

@knudfl
How were you able to identify Fedora as distribution?
(just wondering, because I cannot)

I appreciate the replies to my post but nothing has helped so far, to answer the question is it 64 bit or 32 bit it is a 64 bit installation although I am not sure this is the issue. It seems to be a more general issue because I am trying to establish if anyone knows how to or has actually adobe flash player on Fedora because all of the proposed solutions I have seen do not work. I know fedora is not supporting this product because it is propriertory. My problem is that I listen to the BBC and they only suport flash playerto make the internet radio work. It is easy with ubuntu because it installs automatically. I am trying to find a work around, sorry if I was not clear.

OK, a 64bits Fedora , unknown version.

When you have specified your "Fedora version" we may answer with a solution.

A general solution : $ mkdir ~/.mozilla/plugins
... and then link or copy the plugin to ~/.mozilla/plugins

Example :
$ ls -l ~/.mozilla/plugins/libf*
The reply is :
/home/knudfl/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so -> /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

... I guess your flashplayer plugin is /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

No. I have no flash issues with Fedora 21 - 64bits.

Get the repo file : Google, adobe flash player
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
... Linux 64-bit >>> Select 'YUM for Linux (YUM)' , and download ...

# yum install Downloads/adobe-release-x86_64-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

Install the plugin, and update firefox : # yum install flash-plugin firefox
... and restart Firefox-37.0.2 , to watch "Flash Video".

not working on bbc video
your issue is not with fedora
But adobe
adobe flash is now a MICROSOFT ONLY plugin
there is the OLD and OUT OF DATE linux version
the one that DOSE NOT use the current flash DRM that bbc and a lot of sites ues

install Microsoft windows 8.1 and use internet explorer and that flash plugin

you just gota "love" ( read HATE) DRM

but
you could try Google Chromium browser and the googls "pepper-flash" plugin

Well, thanks for all the advice, I had a suspicion it was not going to be easy to find a solution. When I received my windows 8 computor I could not get windows 8 to duel boot, this may have been fixed now.... I actually changed the bios to get linx(ubuntu) to install and adobe was working then I guess the old version?
More recently my graphics nvidia has been playing up version 331 and this ubuntu problem is still going on for some users, In time this bug may hit the history books.
I was relieved to find fedora installed and supported a higher nvidia release which installed without any apparent nvidia issues, I do not want to put windows back on my laptop so I guess I will find an alternative solution..
NEW NEWS
I am glad to say my son found a solution using the RPM version from the adobe site as opposed to YUM. Surprised but happy, Sorry to have bothered the community but happy I don't need windows with the associated complications and cost.
