Make live usb stick with dd fails

Hi guys,
I have downloaded beta fedora image from here:
http://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/fe...4_Beta-1.6.iso
For some reason I can only use this version (I need the exact kernel version).
I don't have any fedora installed at the time.
My current OS is Debian 8.
I don't have any windows machine at the time.
Below command doesn't work:
Code:
dd if=<path to iso file>  of=<path to usb device node (i.e. /dev/sdb> && sync
liveusb-creator doesn't exist on debian repos.
Trying to download source and run make && setup.py and then executing it on Debian 8 returns:
Code:
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.UDisks was not provided by any .service files
How can I create the live usb stick?

You can use YUMI.

make sure the device is not mounted ok. if you want to run dd to make a live distro image. that media can be inserted but not mounted ok. if you want to take the fedora Iso image and put it to hard drive for booting from grub2 google it. if you want to dd to USB device google it. that has been going on for many years.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraLiveCD If it is a write only media you need to mount it such as a dvd or cdrom. but that falls under mkisof
