Kernel Panic during install

I'm trying to install Fedora core 3 on an old HP vectra VL/5 Series 5, with a 200Mhz MMX processor and 128 of RAM. I run a text install and I get a message

<0>Kernal panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

preceeded by a lot of information this comes after the line
Running /sbin/loader

I ran a media check, in wouldnt run on the computer i'm installin to but the disks checked out.

I don't know what further information is needed but I'm hoping it's something simple.

Thanks

This guy seems to have fixed this error by using a different CD drive.
(assuming that it is the same problem.)

Good luck!
