well i checked out fedora 6 months ago. seemed pretty good.

i want to know what is in the latest stable version, and how easy it is to update.

another concern is gaming and my graphics card. yes i know i will have to do alot to get it to work.

i am asking because i am thinking about canceling my order with suse (9.1 personal). something about a month gone by and no word that it has even shipped seems wrong, if it was backordered they could have told me. I had better luck with MS windows98 back when it first came out! they sent it out in 3 days. on top of that my organization wants to be updated by the middle of this month.

I have an ATI Radeon 9000 (AGP) and I didn't have to do anything special, although I do my gaming in XP, not Fedora. I haven't tried CD/DVD burning just because I don't do it very often. Keeping up-to-date is easy with up2date. As for the latest stable version, well, you can do the reading on this site and make up you rown mind...

all but 2 games i own work with linux. i am trying to phase out windows entirly, i have just had too much crap happen with it. anyways if it does work well off the bat, then maybe i should give it a shot

anyone here play anygames like UT2004 and such in it yet?
