Question Is Fedora Intel Celeron Compatable?

I have a HP Pavilion XL918 computer with an Intel Celeron 1.0 GHZ/100 Processor with an Intel 810 Chipset. When I tried to install Fedora Core 5 and SuSe, they both froze up, even in safe mode. Is this because of the computer ? I know other people have posted about Celerons, but the install is starting, and then freezing.
Thanks in advance

Your processor is almost certainly not the problem, unless it is physically broken. It could be that the installer is trying to load an incompatible driver. What messages are displayed on the console?
