I have burnt the FC3 ISO images on CDs and booted from disk1. It boots ok and I have reached the point where it asks to test the CDs. When the testing of the CD is done it reports a CD failure. The testing failure occurs on the other disks as well.
I have burnt the CDs using Nero in Windows under x24 speed.
I have also tried x4 speed but the result is the same.
I cannot burn with less than that.
What can be wrong?
Could it be the burning process or burning software?
Are there any special options you need to set in Nero?
Has anyone else bunrt the CDs from Nero anf managed to install?

A lot of people ranging from gurus to newcomers report failures during the media check, but proceed to install FCx without any problems.

You can always try the media check on another system, since nothing has been installed on the system when you reach the media check question.

It is probably more important to verify that the MD5SUM values are correct for each downloaded iso image before burning the CDs, than it is to run the media check of the CD.
