Install Without Gnome Fedora Core 5

What would happen if I unchecked Gnome for install? In Fedora Core 5, how far would I get? you know without fighting errors. Does Gnome have to be installed to use Fedora 5 or 4 as that goes, I like Fedora 4 better.

Will It even let do such a terrible thing?

You can have Fedora Core without GNOME. Just make sure you deselect GNOME and any Fedora GUI config tools (they are GTK based and if you choose to install them you will end up installing many GNOME packages).
