during the installation for Core 1 it asks numerous questions. just after i set the root paqssword which is 11 characters long it shows the hourglass 'naff off im buissey' cursor then the screen goes black, and swiches back to tty1... which now containes lots of stuff i dont understand... thoug the highlights seem to be:

(theres a lot of other stuff on screen but its mostly hex in '<>'s)
tty 2 is a mirror of tty 1 with line formatting
tty5 again has hex.. but the last message on screen is
"writing inode tabels 8/72"
the cd's check out fine :S
this really is WHAY over my head
google dosent know at all :'(
i just want linux to work
