install exited abnormally

my install keeps on exiting abnormally I think i have all good media because it starts installing and i tested the disc. It's getting annoying and im now back on XP and going to try mandrake 10. Mandrake 9.2 worked but really was not very stable.

I got a message saying a thread was woken up right after the X server just shut down randomly. And yes the media passed the test.
