Hi. I have used various live cd's and even installed ubuntu on my Dell notebook which works great! Now I'm into learning the CLI and would like to use a USB harddrive as a 'live' Fedora 8 distro that I can plug into almost any computer and use. I have found lot's of help for doing this with USB-sticks, but not so much with hard drives. I have already done one install of FC8 on my usb hardrive only to find out it's tied to the system I installed it from (notebook) So in essence I figured what I'm really looking for is to duplicate the 'live cd' on my usb hardrive so it will boot with any system that lets you boot from usb device.
