GRUB is printed and I can't type

So I installed FC2 and it prints GRUB yet I can't type anything. I tryed to install it with grub-install and then it just printed GRUB like an infinite loop. I can't get to lilo something about permission denied even though I am root. I reinstalled and still have the same problem. I am not dual booting although I do have 2 hd's. Both of which should be clean. I NEED HELP BECAUSE I NEED A LINUX MACHINE FOR CLASS

hi there

do one thing

remove one harddisk physically(remove its powrer cord)(remove first hdb)
then boot from the first CD of ur linux distribution FC2
go to rescue mode

#chroot /mnt/sysimage

#grub-install /dev/hda

and then see if u can boot into linux from that
will deal with the second one later

regards
