Fedora Installation Disables IRQ #11 then hangs
 
I am doing a first time install of Fedora Core two on a partitioned hard drive. I am using a Toshiba Sattellite Pro with built in wireless as well as a wireless card. The partition size I am using is 27GB. During the start of the installation the process get to "sunning /bin/loader" then Disabling IRQ #11. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks..

don't use acpi
 
I have a similar problem on my toshiba satellite laptop.

I read in france forum about irq #11 (I forgot where).
There may be solve with "pci=noacpi".
Then... during installation:
boot: linux pci=noacpi
It WORK

have you got any usb devices connected? If yes then disconnect and try again

OR try the

linux nousb

at the install prompt
