Fedora Hangs Up during install
I'm trying to install Fedora Core 3 on my Toshiba Laptop Satellite 5005 504. For some reason the thing just stops after the line:
running /sbin/loader I've waited for an hour now and nothing happened. I tried the different options (noprobe, skipddc, nofb, text and combinations of those) and none of them worked. Help? |
have you tried another distro, maybe based on fedora if you really want it?

Figured it out, the CD I used wasn't burned properly.
But I didn't know that until now, because I never actually got to the Media Checking point. Reburned it and now it works fine, so: Lesson learned, if your install isn't working right, reburn your CD and try again. |
