Fedora Core 1 Installation

Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to install Fedora Core 1 on a formatted Pentium 233? I can't boot from a CD, so i need to make a bootable floppy. :newbie:

Hopefully I can if you have Windows. Search google for a program called rawritewin or rawrite. You will use this program to create a boot disk.

On FC1 CD1 is a directory called Images and in it is a file called bootdisk.iso.

Just start rawritewin, select the file bootdisk.iso and inserta diskette. It will do it all for you.

After that just boot from a boot diskette. And follow from there.

Good luck

When i restart the computer, it loads from the boot disk and says "Loading vmlinuz............................Boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue."
What do i do now?

And rawrite went fine? Are you sure you don't have a bad diskette?

Almost positive, I tried several times with different disks. Same message.

I don't know. That is strange to me.

 No! you need 'diskboot.img' not 'bootdisk.iso'. bootdisk.iso is for creating a boot CD, diskboot.img is for floppies

thats rite use the image file that ends with .img. use the appropriate one for your installation method whether its a harddrive or ftp, http install.

Oh, my mistake :P bootdisk.img yes, that's the one you need. It's been so long since I've done, that I forgot, and I had a lot to do with isos latetly. .img is the one for you.
