Fedora Core 1 Fails to Install

I'm having some problems getting Fedora Core 1 to install. I bootIt give me the fllowing error message:

"There was an error installing glibc-common-2.3.2-101. This can indicate media failure, lack of disk space, and/or hardware problems. This is a fatal error and your install will be aborted. Please verify your media and try your install again"

This error occurs despite the fact that I test the media in the beginning and I get a PASS. I'm using 8G HDD, clean install, boot directly from Fedora CD.

Anybody have any ideas?

I had the same kinda drama on CD2, Perfectly new cd, (not burnt) and i'd test the medium, it'd come up pass, then id test it and it'd come up fail, was weired, tried making a backup of it and using the backup, same problem, tried using a diff cd-rom, same problem, i got it to install once, but it took me about 10 attempts to do it, is it a downloaded iso copy? or?

I went through the same thing and the only solution I see, since this is a test product is try to install barely the minimum software that will get you started and later you can install the rest when you are online.
