Fedora core 1 Cant login as root ?
 

Everytime I try to login as root in terminal im getting this error message.

" Authentication service cannot retrieve authentication info. "

Any ideas how I can fix this ?

In terminal, AKA you are in GNOME or KDE and you open the terminal? Because with that you need to type 'su' and then your root password.

Or do you mean at the graphical login, aka at the very beginning with a blue screen and a text box? If that is the problem, it may be the authentication daemon, allthough I am not sure.
