Fedora 9 Kernel Source for both x86_64 and i[3|4|5|6]86 versions...
Hi all - I am a Linux newbie.
I want to install both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Fedora 9. While I know where to get the ISO CD images for both, I need help getting the kernel source for both versions. I went here: http://mirror.nyi.net/fedora/linux/r...ra/source/iso/ and I think this is the right place. What do I do after getting the source? How do I compile the kernel - and what do I need to do it - for both versions? A step-by-step process would help, or a pointer to somewhere that has such a guide. Thanks. |
Why do you want to compile it?
You will find the sources in almost all mirrors. For documentation, see the Fedora wiki |
