Unhappy have you done a part image or ghost for linux backup image ?

As for my personal experience,it' s dangerous to upgrade to new still experimental versions,it's better do a fresh new complete install or upgrade anyway to new stable ones..and so now i always install new stable complete ones..have you done a part image or ghost for linux backup image ?

So You could restore it..

Hi Mathew,

On your GRUB loader screen, type e.
In the sub-menu, choose the kernel option and type e again.
append single keyword at the end of kernel statement (after quiet).

then press enter and type b to boot the system in single user mode.

when u reach the prompt. type passwd root to change the password of root.

i hope it helps.
