Ok Folks I got one for ya,
I'm trying to install F7 on an Acer Aspire 1500 (x86_64). Net-install works fine until I get to the point where I enter the path to the FTP server.
I enter: ftp.xxxxxxx.xxx as the server name (X's cuz it doesn't matter which server, I've tried about 10 different ones) and then the path on the server to the os folder
(i.e. /pub/linux/fedora/releases/7/Fedora/os/ ) and after a couple of seconds I get the message that it couldn't connect to
ftp://ftp.xxxxxxx.xxx//pub/linux/.....
So I leave the leading "/" off for the path,... but it makes no difference
If anyone has experienced the same problem and found a way to get around it (btw, I also tried starting the the path string with ../ , doesn't work either) I'd be happy to hear from you
