Hi:

Before I could install Fedora I had to shrink my Win's 7 partition first.
I shrunk the Windows partition to about 1/2 it's size.

When it came time to partitions and write to disk:
I manually created the necessary partitions for the Fedora install and the installation was successful.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...me-shrink.html

You could use a LIVE version of G-parted to manipulate all of the partitions that you currently have but that's up to you. I prefer to use what the Fedora installer and partition manager offers.

Just an example of my partitions to help you see what I mean

Code:

dev/sda *1 Windows 7 NTFS ..Size
dev/sda Windows 7 Recovery NTFS...Size
dev/sda 3 Fedora / ext3 journaling file system 20MB
dev/sda 4 Fedora swap ...4GB (overkill of course)
dev/sda 5 Fedora HOME ...4GB  "  "
dev/sda 6 Boot        ...4GB

ZTcoracat:~$ 4GB was overkill; 1 or 2 GB I think would of been sufficient but I wanted to use up all of the free space I had-

Hope this helps
