I would like to install FC7 from a network device.

I believe the only way to start the installation would be to insert some type of boot media. If I would download the DVD ISO I would defeat the purpose of the network install.

How do I create some a minimal boot CD or where do I get minimal USB boot media?

Take a look at the images directory on the DVD. It contains a boot.iso that you can burn to a CD.

Coldfire's second link gives great directions from that point on.

Fedora 7 does offer a minimal cd boot media download. Info here: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/instal...ich-files.html.

I run a web site that can make this a bit easier.

The site is Instalinux (google it - this is my first post, so I can't post a url). Its a free site. Just found out today that the only FC7 iso's are DVD and thought I'd spread the word that this is an option for those who need to do a CD install.

Let me know if you find any bugs are have suggestions.
