FC4 64 DVD Install Problem

I have a Gateway GT4010 computer. I used my old FC4 32 bit install CD's to get a Linux system up and running, but I would like to go to 64 bit since I have a processor that can support it. I downloaded the DVD version of the 64 bit OS and used SHA1SUM to check the file, the 2 numbers vary:

db014141b9ede7cf66c2818f7d2c99bf4ebd197b FC4-x86_64-DVD.iso is what the file finds.

2f166c7cff4e7334744d48e642b3287693d982ed FC4-x86_64-DVD.iso is what it is supposed to be.

I burned the DVD and tried to install, but it gives me a message early in the install asking where the files are stored, when I click on CD it comes back with the following message:

The Fedora Core CD was not found in any of your CDROM drives. Please insert the Fedora Core CD and press OK to retry.

Upon doing that it looks at the DVD and ejects it again.

I can understand if I downloaded a bad iso file, but if that is the case then I am wondering if anyone knows where to get a realiable file. Unfortunately I am on a satellite system, gets pretty good download, but they limit the amount of downloads in a 30 day period and I can't spend a lot of MB's downloading files that won't work.

Thanks in advance

OK in the future do not burn an ISO if the checksums do not match, this means the download is bad therefore the burned image will be bad.

Have you considered saving your MB's and purchase a FC4 DVD form someplace like cheapbytes; http://www.cheapbytes.com/

Actually I bought my original FC4 CD's from cheapbytes, was hoping to get my new computer up and running with the OS I want a bit quicker this time. However I may be stuck with that option again, I just hate paying $80 a month for something (my internet) and not being able to do the large downloads that should allow me to burn my own CD/DVD's and get it quicker.

If anyone knows a place to get a good download of the 64 DVD that would be great. If I don't hear anything in a day or two I will order it by mail again.

You can try;

wget ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/core...x86_64-DVD.iso
