FC3, dovecot connection close after correct login...

I'm tryng to use dovecot.. for POP3

# telnet localhost 110
Connected to (
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK dovecot ready.
user foo
pass bar
+OK Logged in.
Connection closed by foreign host.

AND ERROR messages from OUTLOOK Express...

Connection closed... errno : 0x800CCC0F

in log.. /var/log/maillog
Nov 28 18:22:25 <localhost> dovecot: chdir(/home/foo) failed with uid 504: Permission denied
Nov 28 18:22:25 <localhost> pop3-login: Login: foo []
Nov 28 18:22:25 <localhost> dovecot: child 31079 (pop3) returned error 89

SELINUX is disabled...

what can i do?
