Error scrolling after init 3 with FC5

I am a newbie running FC5 kernel 2.6.20-1. In my attempt to follow Nvidias instructions to install latest driver for my FX 5400 card, I was told to boot in init 3 mode. After editing the inittab to do so, the system boots, but repeatedly scrolls the following:

"audit(11190018067.000:7) avc: denied {search} for pid=2223 com=irqbalance name="net" dev=proc ino=268435432 scontext=system_u:system_r:irqbalance_t:s0 tcontext=system_ubject_rroc_net_t:s0 tclass=dir"

I can continue to try the installation of the driver I downloaded, but it then fails with some type of kernel compile errors which unfortunately scrol off of the screen due to the above output.

Can anyone please explain the above output upon booting init 3 and maybe I can then address the kernel issue when trying to run the install.

Thanks,

John

They are audit messages from selinux which can be disabled at boot time or by editing the /etc/sysconfig/selinux configuration file (it is self explaining).

Thanks Leonard. My selinux config file was set to enforcing. The comments said permissive would be the setting that would display messages. Regardless, I changed it to disabled, changed inittab to boot init 3 and no more warnings. Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, why must selinux scroll this message over and over every few seconds, making typing text next to impossible? Changing the inittab back using vi while these warnings were scrolling was a bit distracting.
