Error - Can't copy installation image? Hard drive probably doesnt have enough room?
I was startng the installation of Fedora Core 3. I got an error saying that it couldn't transfer the installation image.
It said probably hard drive doesn't have enough room. Oddly enough, I used a 19gig hard drive specifically for fedora only, and I did choose to format/partition it. Any help on this? (by the way, complete newb to linux) EDIT: god figured out how to pass that, but every freaken thing says there's a corrupt file. |
Did the iso files pass the md5sum?
Did the burnt CDs pass the media check? If you download, I suggest that you check the md5sums on the Linux ISO Images and make sure you know how to burn ISOs in Windows to install Linux Possibly, you can still install from the iso files on the hard drive. # Red Hat & Fedora links FedoraNEWS.ORG The Fedora HOWTO explains the different software managers.
