'error 2 reading header' error message from installer

The FC4 installer fails with repeated 'error 2 reading header: cpio: Bad magic' messages.

Tried another CDROM, no difference. System is currently running RH9, so at least that worked once. CDROM checksums are ok, as determined on a second system.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
P.N.

Check your IDE cables inside your case, Linux is finnicky. Or your cd rom jumper isnt set to master sometimes thats the issue.
