download.fedora. ... /header.info Not Found

Hello

I am trying to upgrade from FC4 to FC5 via yum upgrade and I get the following
error ( I removed [u r l ] h t t p / / from the error below so I could post )
Error getting file download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/headers/header.info[/url]
[Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

The file is not there also when looking with the browser.

Am I looking for the wrong file or is it some web problem?

Thanks.

Hi,

First I did
rpm -U h_t_t_p ://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/fedora-release-5-5.noarch.rpm

Then I try to do

# yum upgrade
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Fedora Core 5 - i386 - Base
retrygrab() failed for:
h_t_t_p://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/headers/header.info
Executing failover method
failover: out of servers to try
Error getting file h_t_t_p://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/headers/header.info
[Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

Thanks.

download this file.
download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/fedora-release-5-5.noarch.rpm
then just do a
rpm -ivh fedora-release-5-5.noarch.rpm

or try to do a

yum install fedora-release-5-5

Thanks for the help. I tried both options but I still get the same error message.

# yum install fedora-release-5-5
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Fedora Core 5 - i386 - Base
retrygrab() failed for:
h_ttp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/headers/header.info
Executing failover method
failover: out of servers to try
Error getting file h_ttp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/headers/header.info
[Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

You can see with the browser that the file
download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/headers/header.info
does not exist.

Any ideas ?
