How can i install Fedora from ISO images placed in a local NTFS Harddisk partition?
Can i create a custom install disk of my own?
May be even build an iso image of that disk to be burnt in a cd (Floppies are unreliable)?
We do have rpms available now for fedora kernel modules to mount NTFS drives. Can those be made use of?
Distribution: Xubuntu 12.04, Mythbuntu, Ubuntu Server 12.04

A maybe dumb question: why don't you simply write the ISO images to CDs and install from there, if it's only local anyway?
Else your boot disk would have to mount the NTFS partition (NTFS support is often completely missing in default installer kernels, so maybe you have to compile a special kernel), then mount the ISO images loopback from there, which would surely be a bit of customization.
well you could use the img that's in the image.
you could mount the isos about making a directory named 1.(mkdir 1)
then mount the image as 1 (mount -o loop image.iso 1), i think you have to be root to do that.
then cd to 1 and under the directory there should be a folder which have .img which was for varies installation method.
you would chose install from local disk.
but i don't know does Fedora have NTFS read support yet.
No. the fedora distribution does not support NTFS by itself.
I have installed from FAT formatted Harddisk partitions.
So, I need to know how i can make an installable cd or floppy that will recognize NTFS partitions.
It would be nice to be able to install on a ntfs partition. the problem would obviously be having write permissions so the installer would be able to write to the hard drive. read only is fairly simple. just mount the partition.
* Iam asking about creating a bootable disk (CD or floppy) that can recognize NTFS drives, read the ISO images and install Fedora... just like we can do from a FAT32 partition.
