core 2 update to SCSI drive.
What boot parameters do I have to supply in order for the update from RH9 to FC2 to recognize my SCSI hard drive? When I get to the point where the install is looking for previous installs it reports "No hard drives found".
Thanks, Steve |

I posted a question about my scsi controller, which worked with RH9 but not Fedora2. If you search on my name you will find the detailed post. Nobody answered it, so I am assuming support for some scsi controllers was dropped.

Thanks for getting back to me. The controller is a Symbios and rh9 is using sym53c8xx drivers. I can find these if I look for them and tell fc2 to use these but it does not seem to work. Let's hope someone comes along that knows how to make this work.

Hi there, I have the same problem, I'm trying to install Fedora Core 2, I have a Tekram 395UW pci scsi card. Fedora doesn't recognize it.
Waiting for some help too. :Pengy: |
Well, I guess this one was harder than I thought it was going to be.
