I am a newbie, I installed a Fedora Core 3 and trying to poke around. When I install the Fedora, the installation couldn't detect my mouse, is a generic 3 buttons serial mouse. It detected as "no - mouse", so I choose the generic 3 buttons mouse (Serial) from the list and then it starts to getting to the graphic installation mode, but when I move the mouse, the pointer always stay in the middle. So the mouse doesn't work.

After the installation completed, it rebooted and I can't move the mouse, The mouse just doesn't work. I installed the GNOME instead of X-Windows.

Does anyone know where I can change the configuration file for the mouse? I tried to find some threads that talk about this issue but have no luck.

Please, navigate to /etc/X11xorg.conf and post settings under Inputdevice section. It should contain configuration of mouse
