ZSNES Freezes When Open GL Is Selected

When I choose any OGL video mode under ZSNES, ZSNES freezes completely. I never had this problem until I reinstalled FC2 on my system, I guess I should've left it alone.

I have a NVIDIA Geforce FX 5200 vid card, and the nvidia driver has been installed.

Note: When ran under Root the problem doesn't exist.

Hello all again, when I assigned my username as a member of the root group, it fixed the problem. Although, I don't think it's *officially* fixed, though.

The visuals are choppy when the screen scrolls left and right. Maybe a refresh rate issue? My refresh rate is as high as it will go but is there a way to improve the quality?
